Doaktown Community Park

In 2013, the Village was blessed with a great group of volunteers who created a committee called “Friends of Doaktown Community Park”. These friends worked endlessly to raise funds to help create the community park. They organized music events, fundraisers of all types, but their biggest fundraiser being the Golf Ball drop that so many enjoyed.

The Doaktown Community Park officially opened in 2016 and is a beautiful addition in the center of our village. The park is host to many musical concerts, church services, graduation ceremony for the young kids , Christmas in the park with tree lighting and even Santa stops to visit once a year.

The park has many memorial plaques on the benches, light posts, lawn stakes throughout. Take a walk and view.

Each year we have amazing volunteers who spend many hours planting flowers, decorating , and keeping our park clean.

For each volunteer, the Village of Doaktown is very thankful.

Pack a lunch, bring the kids and spend an afternoon exploring and cooling off in the splash pad.

We welcome you to view all of the park images by visiting the Gallery.
