Doreen Parker has been a resident of the Local Service District on the Grand Lake road her entire life. 

Doreen is married to Iven Parker and they have one son, Scott . Scott and his wife Ashley have two sons, Seth and Luke. The grandson's are Doreen and Iven's pride and joy.

Doreen has held businesses in the Village of Doaktown since 1998. She owned and operated the Trilium Flower Shop and Sears dealer store from 1998 to 2016.She presently owns and operates Parker's Country Diner, since 2012. 

She has been a dedicated volunteer most of her life and sat on several committees, such as: Parent School Support Committee (13 years) , President of Experience Doaktown (2009-2016), Recreation supervisor for the Village of Doaktown, Member of Saint John Ambulance , Helped implement the Breakfast Program for the Doaktown Primary School,  Parade Coordinator for the annual nite lite parade (over 20 years), and still active as President and long term member of the Doaktown Legion Branch #23.
